Dangerous Goods
Air Pacific will carry certain dangerous goods under special conditions of acceptance, packaging and labelling that comply with International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations. This may include chemicals, compressed gases, flammable liquids and poisons. Please be aware that Air Pacific staff undergo extensive dangerous goods training using approved Civil Aviation Authority approved courses.
Air Pacific will not carry the following dangerous goods as baggage; Brief cases and attaché cases with dangerous goods for example lithium batteries or pyrotechnic devices are forbidden.
Disabling Devices for example mace, pepper spray etc. containing an irritant or incapacitating substance are prohibited on the person, in checked baggage and cabin baggage.
Firearms and dangerous weapons are not permitted in the cabin. Petrol driven chainsaws, brushcutters and similar devices are also not permitted for carriage under any circumstances even if they are new / unused.
